Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
Observe Ed, LLC is committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your personally identifiable information.
1. Information We Collect
Account information (name, email, role), career interests and preferences, booking and experience history, and usage analytics (via PostHog, privacy-first).
2. How We Use Your Information
To personalize your experience, match you with relevant career opportunities, facilitate bookings, and improve our platform. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and regular security audits.
4. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. Edit your details on your profile, and delete your account from settings. Deleting removes your name, email and everything you have written about yourself, and cannot be undone. Visits already booked stay on record for the host who agreed to them, without your details attached.
5. Minors
You must be at least 13 to create an Observe account. We ask students for a date of birth at sign-up and do not open accounts for anyone younger.
Students under 18 require parental or guardian consent to participate in career experiences. When a student under 18 books a visit, we ask for the name and email of the parent or guardian who agreed to it, and we record that alongside the booking. We use those details to contact them about that visit and for nothing else.
6. Nondiscrimination
Observe does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by law.
